1. Why is the software not working?

Please check that:
a) All system requirements of the software are met
• IBM compatible PC with 486DX processor or better
• IDE
• At least 16 MB RAM memory
• 1.44MB floppy drive or CD-drive
• SVGA monitor (800x600 resolution) for graphical user interface. Otherwise Blancco starts in text mode.
b) BIOS booting order is defined so that the used media is set as primary booting media.
c) There is no power saving qualities running.
d) The hard disk is functional (software does not work on defective hard disks).
e) The hard disk has been connected correctly to the bus (interfaces, jumpers)
f) The floppy disk is not defected or write-protected.
