Blancco’s APAC region is proud to announce its new CSA membership with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA).
The CSA is a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing. CSA also provides Cloud Computing education to its members and other individuals and organizations. The organization is led by a broad coalition of industry practitioners, corporations, associations and other key stakeholders.
The CSA’s annual event, The CSA Summit, was selected as the venue for announcing the U.S. federal government’s cloud computing strategy in 2011.
With more data moving into the cloud and security risks increasing, a CSA membership provides the opportunity to educate and support best practices around data sanitization across the entire Data Security Lifecycle. As the de facto standard in data erasure, Blancco has developed best practices for organizations to proactively, and continuously, sanitize data. That’s why we’ve partnered with CSA to support the education of data hygiene policies necessary to support this lifecycle.
Blancco has been working with the CSA’s U.S. division for several years. With Blancco’s recently expanded Asia Pacific presence in Beijing, China, this new APAC regional membership with CSA marks an important step in expanding and cementing Blancco’s position as the de facto data erasure solution in that region.
Blancco Data Eraser solutions help organizations address data management issues when exiting the cloud, allowing them to erase the data they don’t need or shouldn’t keep for compliance or business-critical purposes.
