Overarching statement

Blancco Technology Group PLC (”Blancco”) and its subsidiary companies strives to act ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings to protect the human rights of workers, within both our business and supply chains. Blancco is absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities, and to ensuring that its supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

Our Organisation

Supply Chain

Our operations are supported by a global supply chain for goods and services. This supply chain includes suppliers of technology related products and services, software, and independent contractors. The majority of our suppliers are EU based and global suppliers of IT equipment and infrastructure. As such we have no reason to believe that there is slavery or any human trafficking in our supply chains. Slavery and Human trafficking is considered as a zero tolerance issue for Blancco Group and non-adherence or non-compliance if not resolved within a timely manner, Blancco shall terminate the Business relationship.

Key Performance Indicators

Blancco and its group companies purchase a low-level physical goods, thus we consider the risk of slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain as very low and at this time do not measure related performance indicators.

Policies

Blancco has nevertheless set forth internal policies to address human trafficking and modern slavery in our supply chain. Blancco respects the human rights of its employees and is fully committed to a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and in accordance with employment laws. The Company has a number of policies such as HR, Anti- Bribery and Anti- Corruption and internal procedures in place prohibiting any practices related to corruption and to protect the human rights of its employees.

We also have developed and issued a code of conduct to our direct suppliers that states “Forced, bonded, indentured, slave and prison labour are prohibited.” Our Whistle-blower Policy encourages reporting of violation of any of the above stated policies which can be done by employees or anyone outside the organization, without fear of reprisal. Reporting done under this policy are handled by a third party to ensure a non-biased approach.

Risk and Compliance 

Blancco regularly evaluate the nature and extent of its exposure to the risk of slavery or human trafficking occurring in its supply chain. Where we do identify a potential risk, we will take steps to remediate it through legitimate and proportionate processes.

Training

To create awareness of the issues and indicators to look for amongst our various sourcing groups and to ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and in our business, we provide training for employees on Modern Slavery annually including training on our related policies.

Effective Action to Address Modern Slavery

The Company through industry collaboration continues to map trends and drive improvements to add to our antislavery and human trafficking actions and will continue to monitor modern slavery risks within our business and supply chain. We are working to further develop guidelines and tools to address modern slavery issues in our supply chains. We fully support our customers’ initiatives to help eliminate modern slavery. 

This statement has been approved and is fully supported by the Board of Directors and is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
