Chief Executive Officer
Matt has broad experience with both private equity backed and public companies. Specializing in the technology sector, Matt is a recognized leader with a successful track record of developing and overseeing the execution of growth strategies for companies in security, storage and communications.
Matt was most recently CEO of E8 Security, a pioneer in behavioral intelligence and cybersecurity based in the USA. Prior to joining E8 Security, Matt held positions at InterAct, a leading cloud-based software provider for public safety (where he was Executive Chairman), CloudShield Technologies, a provider of cybersecurity solutions (where he was CEO) and Allocity, a software company concentrating on storage management.
Matt led the transformation and growth at both E8 Security and CloudShield into leading cybersecurity software companies focused on the enterprise market, increasing revenue, building out teams to scale and successfully leading global market expansion. He was instrumental in the sale of CloudShield to SAIC and Allocity to EMC. Matt has also held senior executive roles at Excite@Home, Sprint and AT&T.
Chief Financial Officer
Adam was Chief Financial Officer of AIM quoted Eckoh plc (“Eckoh”), a leading provider of customer service and secure payment technology solutions for contact centres until 2017. He had been with Eckoh since 2003 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2005. During Adam’s time there, he managed the negotiation and integration of various significant acquisitions in the UK and US as well as the opening of a US subsidiary. Prior to Eckoh, Adam held senior positions in the finance functions of a number of privately owned companies.
President Global Sales
Alan Bentley joined the company in October 2016 as VP of Sales, EMEA and more recently, has taken on the role of President of Global Sales. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing sales efforts globally. As an industry veteran, Alan is responsible for leading the sales teams to develop sustainable and scalable revenue growth.
Since joining the company, Alan has worked closely with our many enterprise customers and partners to implement data erasure solutions to mitigate security risks and ensure regulatory compliance. This gives him a unique insight into the market and business requirements driving the needs of today’s businesses. Alan has also spoken at industry conferences around the world, including Infosec UK, Gitex Dubai and Govware Singapore.
Executive Vice President, Products and Technology
Russ Ernst was named Executive Vice President, Products and Technology in October 2018. He is responsible for defining, driving and executing the product strategy across both the data erasure and mobile diagnostics product suites. Critical parts of his role include developing a strong team of product owners and cultivating an organizational product culture based on continuous testing and learning. Most recently, Russ was Director of Product Management for Lumension, where he was instrumental in expanding the platforms and applications supported for vulnerability remediation content, as well as adding support for the most prevalent Linux/UNIX server platforms and third party applications. Given his deep technical expertise and understanding of the data security landscape, Russ often speaks on our webinars alongside data security influencers on topics, such as cloud storage, SSD data destruction challenges and data deletion methods.
VP, Business Development
Anders joined Blancco as VP, Business Development in August 2018, where he leads on executing partnerships across an ecosystem of technology developers and service providers worldwide. With 20 years’ experience working in high-growth companies in the Bay Area, Anders is tasked with expanding Blancco’s marketshare through innovative, impactful and scalable partnerships.
Most recently Anders led Strategic Development at FireEye, Inc (FEYE), an industry leader in cybersecurity, where he helped scale the company through its initial public offering, multiple acquisitions (totalling $1.5B) and expansion of technology partnerships. Prior to FireEye, Anders held senior business development roles at various consumer internet companies, including Zynga (ZNGA) and MySpace (NWS).
